In his new position, he is responsible for introducing new products in distribution networks, such as splitface marble ashlars for landscaping and masonry. He also supports the sales department in the general sales effort.
In his new position, Vega will help Georgia Marble's customers by offering a close after-sale service to support them in their everyday business and special projects, as well as provide them with the highest quality products on the market, reports Georgia Marble.
Vega, a member of the Marble Institute of America, started with Polycor, Georgia Marble's parent company, in early 2002 as a sales assistant. He was later promoted to Sales Manager, North America and Europe in 2003 for the quarry division in Canada.
â€œI am very happy to accept this new challenge at Georgia Marble, as it is very marketing oriented,â€ said Vega. â€œMy main target is to regain the prestigious place deserved by this company in the market. I intend to build a solid image for the company and ensure that our name is widely recognized among architects, contractors and the general public.â€
