WATERBURY, CT - Craig Alvarez, Assistant Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for O&G Industries - Masonry Division, has announced Scott Lockwood as the company’s new Architectural Sales Representative.
In this position, Lockwood will be responsible for leading the efforts to secure architectural specifications by building new relationships. He will also tie into the network of professional clients already established under O&G’s corporate umbrella. “Scott’s ability to grow the business by cultivating new relationships and preserving our current customer base will result in real sustainable competitive growth for the future,” said Alvarez. “We are pleased to have Scott join our staff.
“Scott has over 11 years of experience in the masonry industry; his product expertise, direct sales experience with architects and developers, and his success in identifying growth opportunities fits with our long-term sales strategy of hiring only the best in the industry,” continued Alvarez. “He will meet with architects and developers throughout the state.”
Lockwood worked for Consolidated Brick for 11 years prior to joining O&G. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Marietta College in Ohio, entering the college on a baseball scholarship. Scott, his wife Kim and their son Christopher live in Glastonbury, CT.
