Import Stone's Chairman and CEO, Kirk Kesapyan, announced the appointment of John Rhineberger to President of the company. The company began operations in 1993 with one location in Van Nuys, CA, and today operates 10 locations in the Western and Southwestern U.S.

Rhineberger joined Import Stone two and a half years ago as General Manager, and most recently, he held the position of Executive Vice President. “John has been very instrumental in the rapid growth of our company and is a valuable assert with his many years of leadership in the industry,” said Kesapyan.

Rhineberger has a successful 35-year history in retail and wholesale distribution of floor coverings and hard surfaces. He began his career in 1971 as a salesperson with Color Tile, and he rose to President and COO over a 16-year period until a takeover of the 848-store chain by GFI. He then went on to take executive positions at leading companies such as Sherwin William Floor World, Shaw Industry's Shaw Carpet Showplace, American Marazzi Distribution Centers and Tile Network (Master Tile).
