The StoneMaster[r] StoneHawg manual edge profiler is a new piece of equipment from VIC International. This manual edge profiler, built in the U.S., is conveniently compatible with standard tooling. StoneHawg carries a 220-volt, single phase (20 amp circuit required); 3 hp motor, inverter drive for constant torque; and two speeds, 7,000 rpm and 1,500 rpm. The water floatation base prevents the edge profiler from scratching the stone, according to VIC International. Additionally, there are no extra electrical components to mount on the wall or floor.
