VPE-1 Vacuum Lifter

Anver Corp. recently introduced the VPE-1 Vacuum Lifter, a new, below-the-hook, self-contained vacuum lifter with an electric power station for handling heavy porous blocks and construction materials.

The VPE-1 Vacuum Lifter is designed for handling heavy porous blocks and construction materials weighing up to 4,000 pounds and features an oversized vacuum pump with a foam sealed-ring suction pad. Suitable for use in the factory or on a jobsite, this below-the-hook vacuum lifter is self-contained with an electric vacuum power station.

Equipped with a remote pendant and ergonomic handle, the VPE-1 Vacuum Lifter is constructed with an all welded steel frame and has parking stands to protect the foam sealing ring suction pad when not in use. Standard safety features include a VacGuard control system with a vacuum reservoir and audible and visual leakage warning alarms.

Mid Rail Gantry waterjet system

The Jet Edge large-format Mid Rail Gantry waterjet system features a 21- x 13-foot work envelope with an exposed tank that easily accommodates overhead loading. It comes standard with one abrasive-jet cutting head, and a second cutting head can be added to increase productivity.

The Mid Rail Gantry is ball-screw driven for higher accuracy. Its sturdy heavy-wall tubular steel construction eliminates vibration and increases longevity, the company reports. The Mid Rail Gantry utilizes an industrial PC controller and can be configured so that all three axes are fully programmable (a Z axis is optional). It also features direct-couple AC brushless digital servo motors and single or double carriages. Critical bearing components are protected with heavy metal covers with brush seals.

The Mid Rail Gantry waterjet machine also is available in an 8- x 13-foot size.

Like all Jet Edge products, the Mid Rail Gantry is made in the U.S.
