New division launched

POMPANO BEACH, FL - In November, Mosaico Italiano launched its new “Commercial & Hospitality” division to meet exceeding demands for custom-made stone and glass mosaics. This new division will cater specifically to the needs and product volume the commercial industry requires. The division will operate from corporate offices located in Pompano Beach, FL, with new regional offices opening in St. Petersburg, FL; Manhattan, NY; and Los Angeles, CA.

The three new offices were launched as a corporate decision to offer the commercial industry faster turnaround times and an enhanced one-on-one commercial sales experience. The regional offices will offer architects, interior designers and design consultants the ability to work with industry professionals when specifying orders. Each office is staffed with project managers and an experienced Mosaico Italiano design team.

Commercial clients now have the option to go beyond just specifying orders to conceptualizing and discussing product application, design and commercial functionality with on-site mosaic experts, reports the company. Clients also have the ability to create cut-to-size mosaics with customized combinations of patterns, sizes and colors in large volumes. The product lineup will include medallions, accent pieces, mosaics made of glass, metal, marble, granite, semi-precious and tumbled stone elements and much more.

The company’s Florida-based manufacturing plant makes it possible for the new division to offer hoteliers and business owners artistic design freedom coupled with turnaround times that meet even the most demanding projects imaginable. “We are very excited about the opening of this division,” said Matteo Valcavi, Vice President of Mosaico Italiano. “The demand for our products for these types of projects has increased tremendously. It’s the next logical step for our company.”

The launch of this new division does not mark the beginning of Mosaico Italiano products in commercial applications. The company has extensive past experience in manufacturing mosaics for some of the largest commercial and hospitality projects in the country. The mission of the Commercial & Hospitality division is simple - to use this knowledge and experience to benefit the commercial industry, reports the company.
