The Marble Institute of America (MIA) and the Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, OSHA Area Office will present a day-long stone shop safety seminar in northern New Jersey on July 19, 2007.
The event will be hosted by Schechner Lifson Corp of Summit, NJ, and Alpha Professional Tools in Alpha’s new, on-site fabrication shop research laboratory in Oakland, NJ. Participants will witness one of the seminar’s highlights: a walk-through inspection by an OSHA inspector.
“Safety is such a critical issue in our industry,” said Gary Distelhorst, Executive Vice President of the MIA. “This seminar is designed to help enhance their safety programs and their safety awareness.
