As an alternative to V-grooving systems or a bridge saw with a 45-degree inclined blade, Marmo Meccanica has recently tested a new system called “V/O” cutting, with the latest version of its LCV famous edge polisher type.

Maintaining the features of an edge polisher for flat edges and chamfers up to 60 mm thick, the new version LCV M-V/O is a simple machine that was engineered for affordability. The machine can polish backsplashes in a continuous mode, with workpiece sizes a minimum of 45 mm wide and a maximum of 30 mm thick. It can also produce narrow strips with the same dimensions ready to be glued on “L” bordered kitchen tops.
