TOKYO, JAPAN -- The 6th Japan Stone Fair International will be held from November 11 to November 14, 2003 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight).

The Japan Stone Fair saw record numbers in 2001, with 232 exhibitors and 38,287 professionals, negotiating purchases ranging from granite, sandstone and marble to raw stone materials and stone processing machinery.

The visitors profile will include stone-related companies, design offices, architects, construction firms, home-builders, civil engineers and landscape professionals. Others attend-ing include furniture manufacturers, trading companies, agents, whole-salers, retailers, research organizations, government agencies, end users and other overseas visitors.

Natural stone, building and architectural stone, civil engineering, memorials and monuments, stone sculptures, machinery, design, and computer and optical devices will be some of the exhibits at the show.

Additionally, the Japan Home Show will be held concurrently with the Japan Stone Fair. The show is a specialist housing and urban development exhibition, which will host planning and designing firms, construction industries, house makers, housing conveniences and equipment makers.
