GRANQUARTZ STONE & CONCRETE SYSTEMS EXPANDS SALES STAFF

September 1, 2007

Ty Consolino has been appointed Midwest Sales Manager for GranQuartz Stone & Concrete Systems. In his position, Consolino is responsible for building partnerships with concrete and stone restoration, maintenance and fabrication accounts throughout the region. Consolino will be taking over the territory for Jeff Dykstra, who is moving to Las Vegas, NV, to serve in the role of Western Sales Manager.
Consolino brings 16 years of experience in the maintenance industry, having served as National Sales Manager for CleansystemsUS, an importer/distributor of microfiber products, as well as Maintenance Manager for Equinox. He holds a degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Dykstra brings a wealth of experience to the Western market, having already worked for GranQuartz for the past five years.
“We are pleased to have Ty on our sales team,” said Joe Cooper, National Sales Manager for GranQuartz. “His expertise in the maintenance industry will allow him to provide continued strong service and support with our cutting edge systems to stone care and concrete professionals in the Midwest. Also, we are confident that our customers in the Western states will find Jeff to be an outstanding asset in helping them improve their businesses.”
These moves are part of GranQuartz’s long-term strategic plan to offer value-added service through broader sales coverage across the U.S. With eight fully stocked branch locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, GranQuartz currently employs over 50 outside sales and technical support professionals calling on concrete, natural and engineered stone fabrication, maintenance and restoration craftsmen throughout the U.S. and Canada.
