CGM expands its services

FRANKLIN PARK, IL -- Chicago Granite & Marble (CGM), a leading supplier, fabricator and installer of natural stone slabs and tiles, has revamped its existing warehouse and fabrication center in Franklin Park, IL, to include a full-service customer service center and showroom after finding an increased need to accommodate customer walk-ins.

Interior designers and architects in and around Chicago are now able to visit CGM’s new customer-friendly showroom and use it as a one-stop shop for creative and imaginative ideas in stone application and retail design. The plant, located near O’Hare Airport, occupies a combined slab warehouse and fabrication area of 60,000 square feet. This new, upscale habitat of stone luxury has provided the platform for CGM to focus its efforts primarily toward product delivery and 100% customer service satisfaction, the company reports.

“CGM has started getting a lot more walk-ins lately from local publications, word of mouth and drive-bys,” said Amanda Price, project manager at CGM. “This has created a need for us to start selling internally. We want to be able to cater to our customers’ needs and give them that one-stop, one-shop experience through our slab displays, remnants, samples and more.”

“As a fabricator, we are getting more sophisticated by offering a showroom center, bringing a new ideology to stone retailing,” said Anik Narula, CEO of CGM.
