Biesse America, a leading provider of high-tech woodworking, glass and stone systems in Charlotte, NC, announced the appointment of Andrea Lucchi to the position of North American Team Leader for BiesseEdge, Polymac (Artech) and BiesseSand product lines. Lucchi’s responsibilities include the scheduling of field service technicians, the oversight of machine retrofitting and technical demonstrations, and other aspects of customer technical assistance as related to machine modifications, rebuilds and installations.

Before coming to Biesse America, Lucchi served as a Service Coordinator for edgebanding and sanding machinery for the Biesse Group, S.p.A. Prior to joining the Biesse Group, Lucchi had worked as a group service manager. Earlier in his career, he held similar positions for other machinery companies. He has also served as a computer science teacher for various technical institutions.
