Organized by Reed Expositions France, the 23rd edition of the Batimat construction trade show will take place at the Paris Expo in Porte de Versialles from November 5 to 10, 2001. The show will be celebrating the New Information and Communication Technologies (NCIT), which will benefit from its own area next to the four traditional sectors: Structure, Joinery and Fenestration, Finishing and Decoration, and Construction Site Equipment, Workshop Machinery and Tools. Batimat 2001 has estimated that there will be more than 2,500 exhibitors, 45% of which will be foreign companies. Highlights of the show will include the Village and Thematic Routes, Interior Works and Finishing Trends, the Village of Stone, the Construction Quality Forum, the Tiling Trophies, the Design Trophies and the Innovation Awards.
