CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Charles Luck Stone Center, a division of Luck Stone Corp. and one of the largest natural stone suppliers in the Mid-Atlantic, is introducing a new concept for selling stone in Charlotte, NC. The intent is to offer a unique experience built on tailored customer service and distinctive products that are relevant, purposeful and beautiful. The concept includes the opening of a new studio meant to spur design ideas and a process that makes it possible for associates to work one-on-one with customers to answer their curiosity about stone while satisfying their stone needs.

To celebrate the opening of the Studio, the Charles Luck Stone Center recently held an elegant and exclusive event for its customers, partners in the design community and prominent figures and dignitaries local to the greater Charlotte area. Located on the same property as the existing Charles Luck Contractor Office, the Studio has been designed to provide design inspiration and information about stone in a distinctive and creative environment. The setting customers experience there is part stone design center, part stone library and part stone laboratory.

"We have a great opportunity to reposition stone while advancing and evolving the stone industry as a whole," said Mark Fernandes, president of the Charles Luck Stone Center. "We appreciate that stone has a history and legacy that can be celebrated by people who have an appreciation for things of enduring value and the experience of acquiring them."

"The Charles Luck Stone Center will focus on encouraging creativity, exploring innovation and helping consumers acquire the stone that best captures the spirit and essence of each building project," Fernandes added.

The Charles Luck Stone Center has opened Studios and re-vamped Contractor Offices in Richmond and Sterling, VA, and existing retail centers and contractor yards in Charlottesville, VA, Raleigh, NC, and Columbia, MD.
