Luck Stone Opens Greenwood Yard to Provide Aggregates to Region
RICHMOND, VA -- Luck Stone, the construction aggregate division of Richmond-based Luck Companies, has opened a new 55-acre distribution yard in the South Hampton Roads region of Virginia. The Greenwood Yard will stock a full-range of VDOT-approved construction aggregates products that can be used in numerous applications.
The facility, which created three new jobs, officially opened for business in mid-December 2017 at 4032 Seaboard Court in Chesapeake, VA. “This new location enables Luck Stone to better serve its customers in the large growing South Hampton Roads region,” said Rick Rowland, regional sales manager for Luck Stone’s eastern region. “We believe that the Greenwood Yard is one of the largest rail-served aggregates distribution yards in the state.”
