The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), the largest tile contractors association in the world, is offering an updated version of its Reference Manual in a brand new CD-ROM format that will be available for all NTCA members on an annual basis to keep them up to date on important industry advances and installation materials.

Major revisions to the NTCA Reference Manual include information on the installation, care and maintenance of natural stone tile installations, as well as two new documents addressing ceramic tile installation over poured gypsum underlayments and the danger of using scribing felt as a crack isolation membrane. The advanced CD-ROM version is a ready-to-use addition to the already popular print edition, which is thought to be an invaluable resource guide for the office, reports NTCA.

“As our members continue to move into the electronic age, we found it imperative to convert our highly popular Reference Manual to a CD-ROM in which they could load onto their computers for use in both proactive and reactive situations,” said Bart Bettiga, Executive Director of the NTCA. “By sending an updated annual version on CD-ROM, we assist the Reference Manual owner with an electronic copy and a completely updated version at the same time.”

Extra copies of the Manual can be purchased by “Members in Good Standing” for $50.00 each and can be ordered online at www.tile-assn.com.
