BRIDGEPORT, CT - Aaron Carter has been recruited as Inventory Control Manager for O&G Industries Masonry Division. Robert Rizzo, the company’s Assistant Vice-President, made the recent announcement.

In this new position, Carter is responsible for meeting O&G’s goal to control and reduce discrepancies within the inventory system. He will also be responsible for creating and maintaining company procedures for transactions of all materials throughout the inventory process. All strategic business units (SBU’s) within the masonry division will be monitored by Carter, which includes five mason stores and stone yards, the fabrication and distribution center and stone splitter facility.

“What impressed us with Aaron is his five years of inventory control experience within the industry along with his accounting background,” said Rizzo. “We are pleased to have Aaron join O&G. His inventory control credentials will provide the company with the long-term efficiencies we are striving to achieve.”

Previously, Carter was employed by Elemar Marble and Granite in New Haven, CT, as Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager. Prior to that, he worked for Carter Hayes and Associates as staff accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, and currently resides in Wallingford, CT.
