Tim Siviter, President of Regent Products and Marmoelettromeccanica USA, headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA, has announced several staff changes. Paul Whitfield has been promoted from General Manager to Vice President. Whitfield began his career with Regent in June of 1995 in the sales department and was promoted to general manager in March 2000. Since that time, he has assumed oversight of all of the day-to-day operations, and with his promotion, he now handles various administrative duties as well. John Colton has been named head of the Heavy Equipment division. His duties include sales of the Bristol straight line polisher; the America, Nevada, and Florida bridge saws; and he will act as a liaison between Marmoelettromeccanica USA and customers of said items.

Scott Schuster has assumed the duties of instructor for the monthly fabrication training seminars conducted at Regent's state-of-the-art, 20,000-square-foot facility. The seminars instruct participants on the fabrication of custom granite countertops, from unloading of slabs to the installation of the finished job. The seminar is designed to offer instruction to those just starting out in the fabrication business as well as to experienced craftsmen looking to catch up with the latest trends in the industry.
