HydraFlex, which exceeds ANSI A118.10 specifications for waterproofing membranes, rolls on easily and quickly to form a smooth, monolithic watertight surface over walls, floors and ceilings. It is typically ready for tile within two to three hours after it is applied. HydraFlex can also be used over green concrete that is only three days old, which allows users to cut substantial time off the normal waiting period for tile installation to begin. Additionally, the technologically advanced membrane stops horizontal cracks up to 1â„8 inches (3 mm) wide at the sub-floor to prevent them from transferring through to a finished stone or tile installation.
HydraFlex is engineered as one, ready-to-use component, which eliminates the need for a mesh unless a substrate plane change is involved. The result is significant savings in time and materials. For optimal resistance to mold and mildew growth, HydraFlex uses built-in, scientifically proven technology to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew within the membrane.
