In its earlier days, HMG would supply raw blocks to local fabricating facilities in India, which were equipped with gangsaws and tile lines to cut the stone for projects. The company maintained full control over quality and schedules. With an increase in their overseas operations, HMG decided to build a complete slab processing plant with state-of-the art equipment, including three Barsanti gangsaws and line polishers. Scheduled to start in September 2004, this facility, along with others, is expected to process nearly 300,000 square feet of granite and marble per month with a cut-to-size facility to cater to large projects.

In 1999, HMG became one of the first companies to import Italian marble into the south Indian market. Now, HMG is one of the largest marble importers, with a wide variety of material imported from various countries, including Italy, Spain, France, Norway, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Oman and Brazil. HMG exports materials mainly to markets in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
