Extracted from the San Luis quarry in Argentina, Riverstone is a metamorphic rock similar to slate, but typically of slightly coarser crystal grain size, according to its producer, Riverstone Ltd. Suitable for all architectural applications, the material, which consists of subtle grey/green tones, provides excellent slip resistance under wet surface conditions. Because it is non-porous, it is also resistant to frost and cycles of wetting and drying. Riverstone is available in the following formats: flooring tiles and slabs (scants); cladding; sills, treads and risers; copings; skirtings; worktops; and exterior patio/paving. Available finishes include: Natural Traditional Riven, Patina Smooth Matte, honed and flamed.
