In addition to tile and stone, Sawicki has experience with concrete and masonry construction, and other building materials. He has written several articles relating to chemical-resistant applications for brick and tile, high-performance adhesives for stone, and proper installation systems for commercial tile flooring.
Sawicki relates that the key to successful marketing is, "Understanding what the customers' problems are, and finding successful solutions." "The incredible growth of ceramic tile and stone usage over the past 20 years has created many opportunities for new technologies that make the installations permanent and problem free," he said. As a graduate from the U.S. Military Academy with a B.S. degree in engineering, Sawicki served five years as an army officer, including a tour with Special Forces. He received an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of New Haven, CT. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and four children.
