Stone Habitat, a new division of Chicago Granite and Marble, Inc., has opened a new natural stone gallery and showroom in Mundelein, one of Chicago's northern suburbs. It displays a range of concepts from formal, highly stylized finishes to more traditional preparations. Custom-made countertops for the kitchen and bath, stone tables, and interior and exterior home d¿r such as mosaic floors, fireplaces, wall patterns, fixtures, slabs and tiles are all offered by Stone Habitat.
"The message we want to convey is that stone is a versatile material with unlimited application and functional possibilities," explained international entrepreneur and CEO Anik Narula. "At the same time, the stone itself can be a piece of art as decorative as it is functional."
