Basaranlar was established in 1979, dealing with transportation and construction materials until 1990. Since then, the company opened a state-of-the-art stone processing plant in Denizli, Turkey. Over the years, it has continued to grow, and today employs about 300 workers and exports its products to more than 50 countries.

Among the materials produced from Basaranlar's quarries are travertine and a beige marble. Specific products marketed by the company include Aegean Beige, Antique Beige and Karia Cream marble. Additional marbles such as Kale Bordeaux and Ravenna Rosa are also quarried. Another profitable stone for the company is Denizli travertine. According to Basaranlar, it is among the leading companies to produce transparent resin-filled travertine products in Turkey.

In addition to light beige, Basaranlar offers travertine products in Noce, Golden Walnut and Rose. According to the company, this slip-resistant material is not only ideal for exterior paving, but also for floors and walls in residential interiors.

Once extracted, blocks are brought to the company's factory in Denizli to be processed. The factory is divided into three different divisions - slabs, tiles and antique stones. Basaranlar reports that it maintains a production capacity of over 11 million square feet of material per year.

The factory sits on almost a 400,000-square-foot piece of property with approximately 108,000 square feet of covered space. Among the machinery used in the plant are 80-blade Gaspari Menotti gangsaws; Zonato, Pedrini and Bombieri Venturi polishing lines; a Breton slab polishing line; and Tecnama machines for antique stones. Also wanting to be environmentally sound, the company owns a water treatment plant by Fraccaroli & Balzan.

Basaranlar prides itself on its customer service and high-quality materials. The company markets its products under the slogan “Eternal Beauty.” In addition to tiles and slabs produced for floor and wall covering, the company offers steps, windowsills, countertops, columns, antique stones and mosaics as well as customized orders.

One of the ways that Basaranlar markets itself on a worldwide level is by participating in various exhibitions such as Coverings in Orlando, FL; Marmomacc in Verona, Italy, and the Marble Fair in Izmir, Turkey. Exhibiting at fairs such as these helps to keep consumers aware of the company's product lines.

Material that has been produced and exported to more than 50 countries by Basaranlar is used in some of the most notable projects around the world. Some of these include: the Asia International Hotel in Shanghai, China; King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV; London Kempinsky Hotel in London; the Almaata Airport in Almaata, Kazakhstan; the National Bank Headquarters and Branches in Tashkent, Uzbekistan; the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Amman, Jordan; the Melbourne Mosque in Melbourne, Australia; and the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Additionally, the company has supplied marble and travertine to numerous projects within Turkey. Among these are the Antalya International Airport, where 6 million people arrive and depart in a year; the Türkiye. Is Bankası Headquarters in Istanbul, which is the biggest building in Turkey; the Atatürk International Airport VIP Lounge in Istanbul; and the Gloria Golf Resort Hotel in Belek, Antalya.
