Vip Trade Trip To Verona Fair Is Planned

The Verona Fairs Authority is sponsoring a low-cost VIP trade trip to the 39th edition of Marmomacc, which will take place from October 7 to 10, 2004, at the Verona Fairgrounds in Verona, Italy. The land package to Verona from October 7 to 11 includes the following: round-trip transfer from Venice Airport to the Montresor Hotel in Verona by private motor coach (leaving the airport on October 7 at 11:30 a.m. and returning on October 11 at 9:00 a.m.); four nights and five days at the four-star Montresor Giberti Hotel (double occupancy); daily full breakfast at the hotel; daily transportation to and from the hotel and the fair by private motor coach; welcome and farewell dinner sponsored by the Verona Fairs Organization in leading Verona restaurants; visits to local producers with lunch and dinner; fair catalog and VIP admission to Marmomacc; and all Italian taxes.

A two-day stay on October 5 and 6, and a welcome dinner at the four-star Grand Hotel Principe in Venice is also offered as an option, prior to the transfer to Verona, however, space is limited. Air transportation to Venice on non-stop Delta flight DL 154 (leaving John F. Kennedy Airport in New York at 8:20 p.m. and arriving in Venice Marco Polo airport the following day at 10:20 a.m.) with return via Paris on Delta flight DL 8266/DL 17 (leaving Venice at 10:05 a.m. and arriving in New York at 3:55 p.m.) will be also available at the lowest possible fare, at the moment of the booking.

Surfaces 2013 preview

Surfaces 2013 -- to be held in conjunction with StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas -- is slated for January 29 to 31 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The show, which also includes an extensive educational program that will be held from January 28 to 31, provides a place for thousands of floor covering retailers, distributors, installers, architects, designers and builders from around the world to gather and view the latest products, get vital education, network with other floor covering professionals and conduct business.

More than 600 of the largest manufacturers and suppliers representing products in every major category, including carpet, tile, hardwood, rugs, laminate, resilient and stone, are expected to exhibit at the trade show. Hanley Wood, owner and operator of the exhibition, reports that they have many new exhibiting companies and returning ones who have expanded their booth size. Additionally, Surfaces 2013 will host more than 40 workshops, seminars and mini sessions led by industry experts in the fields of business, sales, marketing, installation and design. Attendees can earn AIA, NKBA, AIBD, IICRC and AIA/CES industry designation. Here is just a small sampling of some of the displays that will be present at Surfaces 2013.
