Surfaces 2001 will be largest ever

February 8, 2001
Attendance at Surfaces 2001 is expected to be over 35,000, and more than 900 exhibiting companies from more than 27 countries will fill over 500,000 net square feet of exhibit space.

Set for January 31 to February 2 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, Surfaces 2001 is expecting increases in attendance as well as an expanded educational program.

Now owned by Hanley-Wood Exhibitions, Surfaces is managed by an exhibitions team which seeks to deliver the largest audience in the show's history. Attendance in 2001 is expected to be over 35,000, and more than 900 exhibiting companies from 27 countries will fill over 500,000 net square feet of exhibit space.

With the major floor covering companies expanding their product lines to include larger selections of stone, tile and other hard coverings, Show Director Michelle Troop emphasizes that the 2001 Surfaces trade show and educational program will reflect that trend. "We continue to stay in touch with key industry players," she said, "and we plan to meet the demand for an increased percentage of hard surfaces that is reflected in the industry today."

In addition to expanding the scope and size of the exhibition and educational conference, Surfaces has launched a new web site: www.SurfacesExpo.com. This offers the opportunity to take a look at the exhibitors and their production before and after the exhibition.
