STONEXPO 2006 DATES CHANGE TO NOVEMBER 9 TO 11 . . .
StonExpo 2006 will now take place from November 9 to 11, 2006 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. According to Michelle Troop, Senior Show Director of StonExpo, plans for this year's show are well under way. “We've never seen response like this to a show,†she said. “As soon as StonExpo 2005 was over, the industry started asking for exhibit space and information on how to register for the 2006 show.â€
StonExpo 2005 experienced huge increases across the board. Last year's attendees included 5,068 verified fabricators, installers, quarriers, contractors, architects, designers, builders, distributors, kitchen and bath specialists and retailers - a 55% increase over 2004. Over 255 exhibiting companies participated in StonExpo 2005, which tallied a 24% increase over 2004. These companies - 35% of which were new to the show - occupied 82,000 net square feet of exhibit space, a 22% increase over the 2004 show.
In total, 6,271 people attended the 2005 show, while 3,442 conference sessions were attended - a 66% increase over 2004. Organizers report that stone professionals can expect more stone, new products and services, and more exhibitors, education and networking opportunities at this year's event.
