Stone Foundation founder; John Maine, English public art sculptor/stonemason; Richard Sammons, architect, one of a number of "new traditionalist" architects, whose structures utilize traditional materials and techniques including load-bearing stone walls; and Dan Snow, dry stonemason, philosopher and author of "In the Company of Stone.

Themes include Stonework in Architecture, Restoration Masonry, Medieval Stonemasonry, Structural Stonework, Tectonic Stone Art, Dry Stone Walling, Stone in the Landscape, Amerindian Masonry, Traditional Lime Mortar and Stonework of Other Lands.

The stone foundation is an AIA approved provider of continuing education credit (AIA/CES #Z206). Architects and landscape architects can earn up to 18 LU credits, depending on the number of hours they are present.
