Stephen Bezozo, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Lotus Exim International Inc. of Englewood, NJ, passed away at Bellevue Hospital in New York City on the afternoon of April 28, 2006. He joined Lotus Exim in January of 2005, and he was working on special projects and new product development. He played an instrumental role in approving certification of the company as a Minority Business Enterprise with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, among other activities with the company. “We deeply mourn his loss, and he will be missed by all members of the Lotus Exim family,” read a statement from the company.

During this Tax Day visit, parties representing the various segments of the stone industry were brought together under Europa's roof for a roundtable discussion with the President.
