DURANGO, MEXICO - World Wide Stone Corp.'s new, state-of-the-art robotic tile line has arrived at its factories in Durango, Mexico, and is ready for assembly and start up. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Spencer Cunningham said, “We are right on schedule to triple our capacity to produce and deliver our exclusive filled and honed Authentic Durango Stone™ products to our U.S. distributor network. My brother, Frank Cunningham [President and Chief Executive Officer of World Wide Stone] is in Durango to set up the line and get it humming. Our incredible new, ivory-beige quarries are developing ahead of schedule, too. We expect to be positioned to start shipping our new lines possibly as early as the first days of January 2006.”

Wendy Welfelt, World Wide Stone's controller, explained, “We have invested years of exploration and millions upon millions of dollars to plan and execute our expansion. Now, we'll see the fruition of those investments for the benefit of our clients and our company.”

“I see World Wide Stone maturing into the kind of company its founders envisioned many years ago - now, beginning a new journey of industry leadership,” said Kent Schweiss, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “These are exciting times.”

As one of the company's principals and its Quarry Development Director, Jaime Muguiro Muñoz reported, “I have never seen such an extensive network of travertine deposits on a land controlled by one company. 2006 will be a year to remember in North America's natural dimensional stone industry.”
