Handle Kit for the Aqua-Jaw Carry Vise by Omni Cubed

The new accessory Handle Kit for the Aqua-Jaw Carry Vise by Omni Cubed adds two more handles to each carry vise. With extra handles, four installers are able to safely carry heavier tops (two installers on each side of the top). Each of the four installers has their own pair of handles for easier lifting, and even distribution of the countertop load reduces worker strain, reports the manufacturer. The comfort-grip, foam rubber handle material is UV and ozone resistant, and also will not absorb moisture. The extra handles are an inexpensive upgrade option, and are quickly and easily added to an existing pair of Aqua-Jaw Carry Vises. The Aqua-Jaw Carry Vise and accessory Handle Kit are manufactured and assembled in the U.S., and are covered by a one-year manufacturer’s limited warranty, reports Omni Cubed.

Polycor recently announced a new addition to its slab line: Vetrazzo’s recycled glass surfaces. “This acquisition is a perfect fit with Polycor’s identity: a North American-based green company specializing in locally produced, environmentally friendly products, a successful LEED project supplier and a group of innovative thinkers,” stated the company. Vetrazzo’s product line will be a natural extension of Polycor’s innovative offerings, such as the new 1-cm ultra-thin slab.

Polycor has recently added Vetrazzo’s recycled glass surfaces to its slab line.

“The beauty of glass surfaces - coupled with Polycor’s ingenuity and capabilities - ensures great success for this product line as part of Polycor’s slab division,” stated the company.

Used in both residential and commercial applications, these artistic surfaces are ideal for kitchen countertops, tabletops and vanities.

Used in both residential and commercial applications, these artistic surfaces are ideal for kitchen countertops, tabletops and vanities. Glass sources include bottles from curbside recycling programs as well as waste from glass manufacturers and building demolition. Fabricated with standard stone equipment, Vetrazzo surfaces use only 100% recycled glass, in a patent-pending, resin-free formula.

Pokarna Limited has added a number of new colors to its Quantra collection of quartz surfacing. Additionally, it is able to apply UV resistance to the surface, allowing it to be used for exterior applications in sunny, warm-weather environments.

Pokarna Limited has continued to advance its Quantra collection of quartz surfacing, which is produced using high-quality quartz and the latest state-of-the-art technology. Among the developments, it is able to apply UV resistance to the surface, allowing it to be used for exterior applications in sunny, warm-weather environments. One of the first projects utilizing Quantra with the UV resistance is a large-scale commercial job in Italy, using five different colors.

Pokarna has also added a range of new colors for its Quantra line, including bright primary colors as well as tones such as “Moon Dust,” which resembles Crema Marfil. The collection now includes 70 standard colors, and custom colors can also be created on request.

Additionally, Pokarna has developed a new surface finish for its Quantra products called “Ardesia” (Italian for slate).
