ORLANDO, FL - Fox television's Bill O'Reilly will kick off the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) on Friday, April 11 at 8:15 a.m. Offered simultaneously with the exhibition, the K/BIS conference program runs from April 10 to 13, 2003 at the Orange County Convention Center, while the show begins on April 11. The conference - sponsored by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and Kitchen & Bath Business magazine - will offer over 50 sessions to choose from.

O'Reilly, host of cable television's news program, "The O'Reilly Factor," will speak on the topic of politics and current events, and how they relate to investing in the home and the environment.

Motivational speaker Tony Christiansen will be the keynote speaker on April 12 at 1:30 p.m., with a presentation on motivating yourself and others around you. He will use a painter's trestle as his speaking platform.

Another significant event is the NKBA Board of Directors' Gala on Thursday, April 10 from 6 to 11 p.m. Hosted by NKBA Board of Directors and sponsored by Kraftmaid, the Gala honors the "Finest Professionals in the Kitchen and Bath Industry" and thanks volunteer leaders, members and friends for their continued dedication to the Association and the industry. The gala also recognizes the 2003 Design Competition Award winners, whose projects represent the best that NKBA members have to offer.

In addition to the conference, new design ideas, trends, products and accessories from more than 700 manufacturers in 80 different kitchen and bath categories and services will be seen on the show floor, which will encompass 400,000 square feet and include nearly 4,000 exhibit booths.
