First North American Cosentino Center opens in Anaheim

Cosentino, a global leader in natural stone, quartz and recycled surfacing, recently opened its first Cosentino Center in North America in Anaheim, CA. More than a showroom, the Cosentino Center is designed to support, promote and educate trade professionals by integrating distribution facilities, exhibition areas, workspaces for designers to bring clients, classrooms for continuing education, and fully functioning kitchens and event space for demonstrations.

ANAHEIM, CA -- Cosentino, a global leader in natural stone, quartz and recycled surfacing, recently announced that it will launch its first Cosentino Center in North America in Anaheim, CA. Officially opening with a reception for industry leaders on Wednesday, September 15th, the new Anaheim center aims to enhance both the trade and consumer experience, and marks the launch of a greater plan to significantly expand Cosentino's presence in the U.S. market over the next year.

The Cosentino Center concept is already a proven and essential fixture in Europe, where Cosentino has its global headquarters. More than a showroom, the Cosentino Center is designed to support, promote and educate trade professionals by integrating distribution facilities, exhibition areas, workspaces for designers to bring clients, classrooms for continuing education, and fully functioning kitchens and event space for demonstrations. The centers create a unique interactive environment for architects, designers, distributors and fabricators to view the latest products and design trends, attend educational workshops, hear from visiting expert speakers and receive training on new production techniques and innovations.

"We are thrilled to be introducing the Cosentino Center to the U.S. market by unveiling the first in Anaheim, CA," said Lorenzo Marquez, Vice President of Marketing for Cosentino. "This is the next evolution of the Cosentino brand -- offering a new take on the showroom experience, design innovation and demonstration."

The first Cosentino Center is located in central Anaheim, CA, a region known for its rich history in the natural stone industry, and only a 20-minute drive from downtown Los Angeles. The facility includes over 50,000 square feet of warehouse space and distribution center as well as a state-of-the-art showroom.

Visitors to the center will be able to explore and engage in all aspects of the kitchen and bath experience -- from material and color section to specification and fabrication. It will include a comprehensive showcase of the full portfolio of Cosentino brands, including Silestone Natural Quartz, ECO by Cosentino recycled surfaces, SenSa® Granite, Scalea Natural Stone, Marlique™ Marble, MURO™ Mosaics and the Prexury™ Collection, a semi-precious stone line handmade by expert craftsmen.

The Grand Opening, which was held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, included a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a reception for industry leaders.

The launch of the Cosentino Center in Anaheim is an important move for Cosentino Group, and it marks the start of larger plans to significantly expand its presence in the U.S. in the next 12 months. To meet increasing demand for its products, Cosentino will open Cosentino Centers in Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ and Atlanta, GA, before the end of the year, with further plans to expand its distribution in Florida, California, Ohio and New York in 2011.

"As Cosentino's presence continues to grow in North America, it's imperative to provide the resources and support that architects and designers need to grow their businesses and be successful," said Marquez. "That goal is the guiding vision behind the Cosentino Center concept. This first opening demonstrates Cosentino's commitment to the industry professionals who use our materials and to the craft and industry as a whole."

The Anaheim Cosentino Center is located at 611 East Cerritos Avenue, Anaheim, CA, 92805. It is open to trade professionals and consumers from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. Phone: 714-520-4100.
