Business sold

KNOXVILLE, TN -- VIC International announced it has sold its Restoration and Maintenance business to Ecolab Inc., a $3.8 billion leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing, pest elimination, maintenance and repair products and services for the global hospitality, institutional and industrial markets based in St. Paul, MN.

No terms of the transaction were announced.

VIC retained its natural stone fabrication and installation products as well as its concrete surface preparation businesses.

“This transaction provides VIC International additional capital, which we will invest in our ongoing and successful stone and concrete businesses to sustain our future growth,” said Vic Green, company president. “I sincerely thank all of our associates who worked so hard to make this happen, and we are excited regarding our business prospects for the years to come.”

VIC International is a privately owned company located in Knoxville, TN, that has just celebrated its 26th year in business. The company sells products for the stone industry, including all types of fabrication equipment, diamond tooling, adhesives and abrasives.
