CHICAGO, IL -- The International Masonry Institute (IMI) announced that Scott Conwell, AIA, has been appointed as the Market Development Representative to the Tile Marble Terrazzo Labor Management Craft Committee of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC). Conwell is a licensed architect, and has been with IMI's Chicago office for eight years. Jointly funded by the BAC and its contractors, IMI is a non-profit labor/management organization, which conducts apprenticeship and training, educational, technical and promotional programs for the stone and tile industry. The International Masonry Institute is the country's largest provider of training in the trades of marble, terrazzo and tile.
