After a couple of years of unpredictable attendance, the Vitória Stone Fair/Marmo+Mac Latin America seems to be back on its feet. As CNC machinery for stone fabrication continues to advance, it is necessary for the tooling and accessories needed for these machines to improve technologically as well. Manufacturers are working closely with machinery manufacturers to be compatible with stone-cutting equipment.
Too often, after an accident occurs, we receive inquiries from stone companies asking what safety training resources are available. Others may know we have developed a vast array of resources over the past 10 years, but just simply haven’t taken the time to utilize what is available.
As September rolls around, it’s time for many of us to get back to a routine. School is back in full swing. And in the stone industry, our schedules usually fill up a little more in the fall with what we often like to refer to as “trade show season.”
