BACA Systems M Series 240

December 22, 2025

The BACA Systems M Series 240 is built to be the most reliable, lowest-cost SawJet in the stone industry, period. At the heart of the system is a fully sealed, airtight KUKA robot, designed to thrive in harsh stone shop environments. No exposed components, no moisture issues, and no premature failures. That robot alone is a major reason the M Series 240 delivers superior reliability compared to anything else on the market.

From a maintenance and cost standpoint, the M Series 240 stands apart. With fewer wear components, smart system design, and proven robotics, it delivers the lowest total cost of ownership of any SawJet available today. Less downtime, less service, and more production equals real savings over the life of the machine.

Where the M Series 240 really shines is versatility. It combines saw and waterjet miter capabilities, making it ideal for complex fabrication like integrated sinks and custom mitered parts. Both the saw and waterjet provide full table coverage on large 144” x 90” tables, so you’re not limited on cutting jumbo slabs.

Material savings are another big win. By using the waterjet to eliminate blade over-travel, fabricators increase material yield and reduce waste. At the same time, secondary labor for fabrication decreases significantly by cutting sinks, arcs, radii, faucet holes, and other non-linear cuts with the waterjet. Shops running a CNC router can see up to a 30% increase in output per CNC, by cuttings sinks and other non-linear shaping to the SawJet during the cutting process.

The system is fully enclosed with physical doors to keep silica and overspray contained within the cutting system. The doors also allow for auto-start, delivering 100% uptime with no machine idle time. Programming is done through easy-to-use Alphacam with vein-matching, making complex jobs simple and helping shops cross-train new employees faster.

The M Series 240 isn’t just a SawJet.. it’s the most versatile, lowest-maintenance, and most reliable SawJet on the market.
