Home » Creating a home that is relevant but also timeless
Tiffany Gowler is the lead designer and co-founder for Gowler Homes in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her and her husband, Matt, decided to build their forever home and decided to use Sequel Quartz Statuario from Bedrosians throughout the whole house. "The kitchen is the heart of the home," said Gowler. "It is where we spend so much of our time making memories, eating good meals and being together. When designing this space, we knew we needed to use materials that would be durable (we have four young children) and stone that would not only look amazing installed but be functional. For the quartz, we found a stone we loved and used the same one throughout the home."
The quartz is sued in the kitchen, laundry room and all the bathrooms. According to Gowler, she wanted a white stone that didn't have any funky undertones, had large veining and had subtle touches of both gray and brown throughout, and Sequel Quartz Statuario fit the bill perfectly. "Everyone loves our home and the common reaction is that the photos do not do it justice," said Gowler. "Every single person says how much better it is in person. They say it feels welcoming, warm, unique and relevant."
