Since 1983, Precision Stone Inc. has partnered with the architectural and design community and world-renowned stone quarries to provide our clients with superior stone fabrication and installation. Now, we are partnering with The Stonemasonry Company Limited to provide our clients with state-of-the-art technology in staircase design.
The Stonemasonry Company Limited is a U.K. based group of dedicated master craftsmen who for nearly ten years have been specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke natural stone staircases. Building on the ancient heritage of stone masonry, the company is pioneering new methods and establishing new limits on what can be achieved in stone. "We have looked back at nearly 600 years of stone staircases to reintroduce to the architect and designer the beauty of stone staircases,” said Pierre Bidaud, senior project manager. Their award-winning and utterly unique floating post-tensioned stone staircase, designed by The Stonemasonry Company’s experienced designers, marries traditional hand chiseling with modern engineering to stunning effect.
Precision Stone is on the cutting edge of the architectural, design and art industry, providing superior artistry and workmanship through the unparalleled skill of our team and state-of-the-art technology at our facility. Our revolutionary achievements and next-level fabrication techniques have been the subject of numerous articles and features in leading industry publications including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Architectural Record among others. In partnering with The Stonemasonry Company, we hope to expand our operations by bringing this exemplary engineering technology to our clients in North America and beyond.
