Minick Materials was founded in 1958 by Kenneth Minick and his wife, Nova. The family-owned company began as a topsoil and sand delivery company and has become one of the largest landscape material distributors in the Oklahoma region, shipping both locally and nationwide. Minick Materials is also involved in the local community, providing the majority of stone for the Oklahoma City National Memorial, soil donations for the Children’s Center in Bethany, OK, as well as supplying materials to local churches, day cares, retirement centers and countless others. Minick Materials is also an active member of several professional organizations including: Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association, Oklahoma Nursery and Landscape Association, and the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Through the different quarries of Minick Materials, they produce more than 300 quality products, for both commercial and residential applications. Their selections include boulders, CU-structural soil, compost, crushed limestone, decorative rock, flagstone, mulch, pavers, pottery, retaining walls, stone, soil and sand. The company’s primary customer is commercial masons or home builders, with some ancillary sales to landscapers and do-it-yourself customers.
