The owners of a vacation home in Angel Bay, TX, envisioned a space that felt casual and clean, with a soft and modern interior. They commissioned Jim LaRue of LaRue Architects in Austin, TX, to make this dream a reality for them. “As architects, our design goal was to build a contemporary stone retreat on a tough site with panoramic views of Lake Travis,” said LaRue.
“Serving as a weekend house, used almost exclusively for entertaining groups, we wanted them to experience the beautiful lake views from each room of the house.”
