Home » Arley opens North Carolina distribution facility
Arley Wholesale, Inc., a family owned, third generation wholesale supplier of tile and stone headquartered in Scranton, PA, has opened up a full-service distribution/warehousing facility in Greensboro, NC. The firm will begin delivery from that location using its own fleet of trucks on March 25.
According to Scott Levy, Arley Executive Vice President of Operations, "We will be delivering in stages, in concentric circles from Greensboro out. We want to make sure we are doing everything correctly. Frankly, we are giving our customers what they asked for, as for years, those in that region wanted us to have a local presence. Historically, they love doing business with Arley, but up until now they couldn't buy all of their sundry items along with the tile because of freight on common carriers. They also wanted to make sure that we were long-term players in the marketplace. Opening a regional distribution center gives them what they have requested."
