The founding partners of Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates (HHPA), Hugh Hardy, FAIA, Malcolm Holzman, FAIA, and Norman Pfeiffer, FAIA, announced that they are forming three independent organizations. Each firm will retain appropriate core HHPA staff. Hugh Hardy's firm will be called H3 Hardy Collaboration and will remain in New York. Norman Pfeiffer, with HHPA partners Stephen Johnson and Jean Marie Gath, will remain in Los Angeles under the name Pfeiffer Partners.
Malcolm Holzman -- a frequent Stone World contributor and author of the book, “Stonework†-- will join HHPA partner Douglas Moss to form Holzman Moss Architecture. Current projects include the City of Frisco City Hall and Public Library; the Globe News Center for the Performing Arts in Amarillo, TX; Texas Tech University's Student Union Renovation and Expansion; and the Jefferson Hall Library and Learning Center at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY.
