Natural Stone 2004, the International Marble, Natural Stone Products and Technologies Exhibition, is set to take place from September 2 to 5, 2004 at CNR Expo in Istanbul, Turkey. The organizers of the fair point to the success of Turkey's stone sector - which has grown tremendously over the past 15 years - as well as Istanbul's leading role in the Turkish economy, with 60% of the country's business.

Organizers report that they expect 25,000 professionals to visit the show, which will feature stone slabs, tiles, mosaics, blocks and other architectural items. It will also include machinery for quarrying and processing stone was well as abrasives, tools and transport equipment. Attendees will include architects and specifiers as well as stone importers, engineers and other industry professionals.
