Among the newest products is the Taifun series of compact saws. First displayed at Stone+tec in Nuremberg, Germany, last spring, there has been an increasing demand for the Taifun series, reports its manufacturer. Offering a variety of component configurations and high-flexibility, this piece of equipment also contains a high-degree of compactness, which makes it so popular, stated Schmidt & Exner. Depending on the application, the Taifun is equipped with a fixed bridge (XF) or a mobile bridge (XM).

The Taifun series is made in Aue, Germany, and complies with strict requirements of ISO 9001:2000. According to the company, these saws offer high quality as well as a long service life and an attractive price/performance ratio.
