Silestone, the world leader in quartz surfacing, is introducing the Stonium Series, a new line of earthy hues inspired by the distinctive coloring of organic minerals and the movement of natural stone. The series gives architects, designers and homeowners even more choices in color, depth and pattern for kitchen and bath surfaces.
The Stonium Series uses innovative technology to offer six striking combinations that feature rich color and veining and depict the inherent beauty of natural stone, while providing the exclusive benefits of Silestone Natural Quartz. This high-performing natural quartz can be used for a number of surfaces including countertops, vanity tops, flooring, bathtub surrounds, walls, shower stalls and fireplace surrounds, all without the maintenance and upkeep required of marble and granite. The Stonium Series retails at $54 to $82 per square foot, depending on thickness and color and is naturally non-porous with built-in antimicrobial protection.
More than 600 of the largest manufacturers and suppliers representing products in every major category, including carpet, tile, hardwood, rugs, laminate, resilient and stone, are expected to exhibit at the trade show. Hanley Wood, owner and operator of the exhibition, reports that they have many new exhibiting companies and returning ones who have expanded their booth size. Additionally, Surfaces 2013 will host more than 40 workshops, seminars and mini sessions led by industry experts in the fields of business, sales, marketing, installation and design. Attendees can earn AIA, NKBA, AIBD, IICRC and AIA/CES industry designation. Here is just a small sampling of some of the displays that will be present at Surfaces 2013.
