Tennessee Marble Co. Acquires Champlain Black Marble Quarry

Tennessee Marble Co. of Friendsville, TN, announced the acquisition of the Champlain Black Marble quarry located in Isle La Motte, VT. This rich, black marble, which has been known as “Radio Black” and “Champlain Black,” is the only Class A black marble quarried in the U.S., the company reports. It has an impressive history in many projects throughout the country, including, Radio City Music Hall, the National Gallery of Art, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Maine State Capitol.

Tennessee Marble Co. is a vertically integrated quarrier and fabricator of domestic marble. Champlain Black marble will be offered in block, slab, tile and cut-to-size options. For more information visit www.tnmarble.com or e-mail info@tnmarble.com.
