Technology Update: June 2010

Cemabond is a premium line of polyester adhesives, tints and caulks representing years of research and development. This product line is represented exclusively in the U.S. by Regent Stone Products located in Virginia Beach, VA.

The Black Label Polyester Adhesives are manufactured using only the highest quality resins, giving the Cemabond Black Label an easily tinted light hue and fast setting capabilities compared to other products on the market, reports Regent Stone Products.

The Red Label Polyester Adhesives are a less expensive alternative for rodding, consolidation and rein-forcement of slabs and other shop applications. According to Regent Stone Products, all of the Cemabond adhesives polish easily, making them a fabricator’s favorite.

The MultiUse Color Kit is unique in that it can be used with any polyester-, acrylic- or epoxy-based adhesives. It contains 10 tubes using popular colors, including Buff and Gray, making it easier to color match certain popular stones. Cemabond is also a supplier of high-quality hardeners that are compatible with all polyester-based adhesives.

Cemabond Silicone Caulk is guaranteed to provide the installer with a product that is easy to use, provides excellent adhesion and sealing while never yellowing, according to Regent Stone Products. Cemabond caulk is quick curing and can be used for a variety of applications such as seaming and sink installation. It is offered in Bone, Black, Clear, White, Trans White, Special Brown, Almond and Dove Grey. According to Regent Stone Products, fabricators find these products affordable and reliable.
