Pokarna Engineered Stone Limited’s Quantra Quartz Surfaces have received NSF-51 Certification from NSF International. Pokarna Engineered Stone Limited reports that it is the first Indian company to receive the NSF-51 Certification for Quartz Surfaces.

The presence of the NSF Mark on Quantra Quartz Surfaces means that the Quantra Quartz Surfaces have been evaluated, tested and certified by NSF International as meeting commercial food equipment standards. Quantra Quartz Surfaces are safe for food contact, do not support the growth of any kind of bacteria, mold or mildew. Therefore, they can be used for food service areas in restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, office buildings and public spaces.

To earn the right to use the NSF Mark, Quantra Quartz Surfaces not only met the stringent evaluation and testing of requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 51, but also rigorous, unannounced inspections of its production facilities, which are conducted on a routine basis.
