Patricia Cronin of New York, NY, was the artist who made the over life-sized figurative sculpture featured in the article on Johnson Atelier in the August 2002 issue of Stone World ("Taking sculpture to the next level." page 36). The sculpture, which is shown on page 42, is entitled "Memorial to a Marriage," and its fabrication was sponsored by Grand Arts of Kansas City, MO. After its debut in Kansas City, the sculpture will be permanently installed in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. Regent Products and Marmoelettromeccanica USA have broken ground on a 6,000-square-foot building for the storage of its heavy equipment line of saws and polishers. This new building, which is adjacent to Regent's 20,000-square-foot offices and warehouse, will provide needed space to accommodate the growing heavy equipment division. According to Paul Whitfield, vice president of Regent, this new facility will allow the company to keep its full line of saws and polishers in stock at all times, allowing for rapid delivery and installation and greater overall customer satisfaction.
